Star gazing has been a new interest in my house, and now with a clear sky it’s possible to spot quite a number of stars. The lights however spoil the magic and every night me and my daughter wish we could have all lights off, atleast those lamps staring right into our eyes. Light pollution is a concern worldwide.

I told my daughter about today’s announcement about turning lights off at 9pm on 5th March, of course to put Diyas and candles…

“How will that help with the virus?”

“It will not.”

“Why should we do it?”

“We need not”

It will look beautiful though…she said.

We should do it regularly.. minimise light pollution and look at the magic right above us in the sky. No candles or lamp can create that magic.
