The disease spreads in “clusters” only to close contacts. So if we find the people who have infection and their close contacts ( called case finding and contact tracing), isolation and containment is possible.
Can we just isolate everyone in India? Or should we only isolate those who have history of international travel? How many people have those international travellers came in contact me? I have met people who had recent travel to Germany, Vietnam and Malaysia. I met people whose neighbours have travelled to Italy and other European countries. In fact if you are in Gurgaon, chances are that you are also atleast a second degree contact of someone who has traveled internationally.
